CHARLOTTE, NC – Rosenberg’s larger backward curved fans with motorized impellers offer
design engineers greater flexibility and optimal performance. With no
drive belt and no external motor or shaft, they are perfect for
high-efficiency air moving applications. Rosenberg’s large selection
gives OEMs more choices in physical and performance specifications.
Available in sizes 22, 25 and 28 inches (560, 630 and 710
mm), Rosenberg’s backward curved fans deliver up to five inches of
static pressure or a maximum air movement capacity of 11,450 CFM in a
compact, space-saving package. Airflow, power, rotational speeds, noise
level, overall dimensions and finish can be specified to meet the exact
requirements of the application.
These
rugged IP54-rated backward curved units are available with or without
housings. The concave backward curved impellers are made of aluminum.
Impellers are mounted directly to the rotor of the asynchronous external
rotor motor, and are superbly balanced together with the rotor to
ensure long life, quiet operation, and low vibrations.
Rosenberg backward curved fans are 100 percent speed
controllable. Thermal contacts provide standard motor protection.
Insulation is to Class F and side cable connection is standard.
The fans can be specified with or without electronic
commutation. Electronically commutated (EC) fans feature standard AC
input power, and extended-life, low-temperature brushless DC motors that
are controlled by maintenance-free electronic circuitry. Because of
reduced mechanical content, electronically commutated (EC) Rosenberg fan
motors run cooler and quieter.
